Peugeot launches the most exclusive gifts for this Christmas: The electric bicycle eF01 and grinders designed by Lalique
After several months of waiting, the electric folding bicycle for the last kilometer Peugot eF01 finally launches in the Spanish market, allowing to move at 20 km / h for 30 kilometers, and with a folding system of only a few seconds. In addition, the Peugeot Saveurs division, in collaboration with the prestigious French firm Lalique, has reissued the exclusive and limited glass and salt grinders that French glassware designed for Peugeot in 1924. A jewel for the most demanding cuisines. Peugeot is launching Christmas this year with two highly anticipated launches by lion brand lovers: the folding electric bike eF01 and the salt and pepper grinders signed by Lalique and Peugeot Saveurs. The first was announced earlier this year as the best Peugeot last mile solution for cities and as an equipment option for the new Peugeot 5008 SUV, but it has not been so far when the eF01 bike will be marketed in Spain. Designed by the Peugeot design unit, the Peugeot Design Lab has a folding mechanism that is unique in the market, and can fold and unfold the bike in less than 10 seconds without following an established order. In addition, the eF01 weighs 17 kilograms and reaches speeds of up to 20 kms / h for 30 kilometers of autonomy. In this sense, the eF01 takes its energy from a lithium ion battery that can be recharged through the electric current or as it is pedaled by kinetic energy.

Following Peugeot's maxim of permanent connectivity, the eF01 bicycle uses Bluetooth technology Low Energy to communicate with a Smartphone through the app MyPeugeot APP, where you can see data on the autonomy and level of charge of the battery, or directly with the Peugeot 5008 itself via Android Auto. The eF01 bicycle can be ordered from any of the official Peugeot dealers in Spain, and can be purchased alone for 2,000 euros or in conjunction with the new Peugeot 5008 within the highest equipment (GT or GT Line). On the other hand, Peugeot Saveurs, the division of Peugeot specialized in grinders and articles of enology, also launches this same month a reissue of the mythical grinders of salt and pepper that René Lalique, founder of the prestigious and luxurious glassware Lalique, designed for Peugeot in 1924. In a limited edition and exclusive aesthetic, the 9cm high Lalique grinders are made with the finest glass of the French house.
Under the name of 'Feuilles', René Lalique and Peugeot designed an exceptional grinder which is now reworked to commemorate the opening of the Villa René Lalique hotel-restaurant in Alsace (France). To reproduce all the leaf-shaped motifs (feuilles) of the original model, each piece combines the current goldwork techniques with the precise and traditional hand gestures of up to fifteen craftsmen. Through a set of lights and transparencies, each leaf of this grinder represents the elegance and style of this jewel of glassware. Through a very meticulous work, Peugeot has introduced in this piece of glass so delicate its mechanisms of cutting and grinding salt and pepper, guaranteed for life and considered as one of the best in the world. These grinders can be found in specialist outlets from 695 euros the unit to 1,250 euros the duo with a sample of salt and pepper.
