The Peugeot Saveurs division, in collaboration with the prestigious French firm Lalique, has reissued exclusive and limited salt and pepper grinders that the founder of French glassware designed for Peugeot in 1924. A jewel for the most demanding cuisines. Peugeot Saveurs, the Peugeot division specializing in grinders and oenology products, launches a reissue of the mythical salt and pepper grinders that René Lalique, founder of the prestigious and luxurious Lalique glassware, designed for Peugeot in 1924. In edition limited and exclusive aesthetics, the 9cm high Lalique grinders are made with the finest glass of the French house. Under the name of 'Feuilles', René Lalique and Peugeot designed an exceptional grinder which is now reworked to commemorate the opening of the Villa René Lalique hotel-restaurant in Alsace (France). To reproduce all the leaf-shaped motifs (feuilles) of the original model, each piece combines the current goldwork techniques with the precise and traditional hand gestures of up to fifteen craftsmen. Through a set of lights and transparencies, each leaf of this grinder represents the elegance and style of this jewel of glassware. Through a very meticulous work, Peugeot has introduced in this piece of glass so delicate its mechanisms of cutting and grinding salt and pepper, guaranteed for life and considered as one of the best in the world. These grinders can be found in specialist outlets from 695 euros the unit to 1,250 euros the duo with a sample of salt and pepper.
