Gucci presents a new DIY program that will be launched exclusively on Gucci.com NEWS Gucci announces that today, May 10 will be the launch of the new update of the DIY personalization service -Do It Yourself-, which aims to promote the self-expression of its customers by creating personalized Gucci items. The new program, which includes the tote bag Ophidia and the sporty Ace, will be available exclusively on Gucci.com through a special tool that allows you to design and visualize a customized product, as well as in the Gucci Wooster space in New York. The new DIY accessories will be delivered in a special packaging with the ABCDEFGucci design. Seen through the imagination of a character who dreams of being a rock star, the campaign filmed by Petra Collins presents the new customizable accessories and will be released on May 10 together with the collection. Gucci offers its customers the possibility to choose the initials they want from a new DIY alphabet created especially for the occasion in a distinctive, contemporary and rounded font. Once selected, the letters can be applied to the Ophidia tote bag, which stands out for a background with the interlaced G pattern, a golden double G detail, the green-red-green triangle on both sides, and brown handles and rims. skin. They can choose between leather, crocodile, python and felt and have the option to decorate the bag with two different glass letters, applied one on each side on a large scale. This initial design is available for Ace sports (one letter per shoe). Gucci.com's specialized tool allows customers to view virtual images of their personalized DIY products, created from a combination of computer-generated 3D images and real photographs of the products. This process translates into a faithful and realistic representation of the combinations of colors and materials. This feature is optimized for all types of mobile devices, tablets and computers. In order to materialize its DIY offer and expand the visual experience of the program, Gucci has developed an exclusive application for Gucci Wooster that uses augmented reality technology. This application allows the customer to focus a physical product through the camera of an iPad or iPhone, customize it to your liking and visualize it in a real environment. The new DIY program will reach other Gucci stores starting in September.
