B&O Play by Bang&Olufsen collaborates with visionary David Lynch
The multimedia firm continues to lead as a force for cultural expression with a new and surprising collaboration. B & O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen has announced a new and innovative collaboration with the director, screenwriter, artist, and non-musician, David Lynch. The firm unveils a limited edition launch of its Beoplay A9 loudspeaker, which has become a modern classic of the brand since 2012. This limited edition Beoplay A9 speaker has a case that represents a lithograph of the famous works of Lynch "Paris Suite". Marking the tenth anniversary of these iconic lithographs, Lynch, a self-styled, longtime Bang & Olufsen patron, once again takes his work to a new art form, giving new life to his original works. It is no coincidence that the launch of the product accompanies this year's 'Festival of Disruption', the annual creative event sponsored by Lynch. This special edition of Beoplay A9 will be signed and numbered by the artist, and part of the proceeds will go to the David Lynch Foundation. The collaboration will be exhibited at the MoMA Design Store, located at 81 Spring Street in New York, from October 13. The loudspeaker will also be on sale through store.moma.org. This collaboration will expand to Bang and
Olufsen, as well as selected outlets. With only 30 units of this special edition available to the public globally, the Beoplay A9 "Paris Suite" by David Lynch is priced at $ 2,999
